In this Premier League game Watford will host Manchester City.
Watford started their season above all expectations and after four games they are one of three undefeated teams. They beat Bournemouth and Southampton, while drawing with Liverpool and Brighton. Interestingly, both their wins came on the road and they kept their net untouched in both of them.
On Saturday they beat Southampton 2:0 in a game which wasn`t very entertaining. It was a controlled victory for Watford since they limited hosts to virtually nothing and kept their third successive clean sheet in the Premier League. They will welcome City in good spirits and with a hope of getting something. However, they will have to do that without Prodl, Kaboul and Cathcart who are injured, as well as without Britos who is suspended.
Manchester City recorded 10 points from the first four games and they are sharing first place on the league table with their city rivals. After taking dramatic victory in Bournemouth, on Saturday they welcomed Liverpool and completely destroyed them.
Aguero gave them the lead in 25th minute and when Mane got sent off twelve minutes later it was clear that Liverpool won`t be able to answer them. City managed to score four more goals till the end, recording surprisingly high 5:0 victory.
On Wednesday they recorded another convincing victory when they visited Feyenoord in the Champions League. Jesus, Aguero and Stones twice were the goalscorers in a 4:0 win which successfully kickstarted City`s European season. The only missing for the visitors here will be that of injured Kompany.
Both teams come here undefeated but it is clear that City are clear favourites. Watford presented good and solid performances, but City should be different kind of task. However, knowing that City struggled in both of their road games, Watford could fancy their chances, despite waiting for the first victory at Vicarage Road. Visitors will probably attack from the first minute, and while it should bring them goals, it should also leave space in the back for Watford to exploit.
Hosts showed they are capable of scoring having already netted seven goals, and I see them getting on a scoresheet again. Watford could take something here, but no matter the outcome I see both teams netting at least one goal here.
